Marco Island Photographer
Marco Island is the largest of Southwest Florida’s Ten Thousand Islands. This barrier island is a family vacation and destination wedding paradise. The immaculate white-sand beaches invite you to walk on them and beg to be enjoyed. The pristine beaches sport sea grass and other natural landscaping for colorful backdrops and points of interest. The wide selection of fine restaurants makes entertaining a breeze.

Joyful Family Portraits on Marco Island
Some of the natural family photographs on this page were taken at the South Beach on Marco Island. Family photo sessions are popular on this tropical island. Here are some family portraits taken on the beach at the Marco Island Hilton Resort. My goal is to create family photos that shows the natural and fun expressions your family usually have for each other on vacation. Family reunions on Marco Island are popular. Parents will rent a condominium and their children and grandchildren arrive for holidays.

If you are looking for sun-washed beaches, palm trees swaying in the wind and miles of bicycle paths, this is the island for you. The lush landscape and beautiful beaches are a gorgeous backdrop for your ceremony. The island takes on a private feel for intimate weddings, but also has two world-class resorts. The Marco Beach Ocean Resort and the Marco Island Hilton are perfect for even the largest event.
Weddings at South Beach on Marco Island
Here are some photographs of a wedding at South Beach. This was a fun and simple destination wedding that Menno and Jenny planned from Minnesota. Across from the entrance to South Beach, there is public parking available with a quick walk across South Collier Boulevard to the beach. Before the wedding ceremony, Menno waited with the children while Jenny arrived for a first look. We then walked to the beach for a ceremony performed by Phyllis of Weddings by Phyllis.
But Marco Island isn’t just for first-timers. Many couples come (or come back!) to renew their wedding vows. After some photos near the condo or resort, we can walk to the beach for your ceremony. Your guests will probably stop along the way to pick up some beautiful shells from the white sand. If your hotel is one of the many on the west side of the island and the weather cooperates, we can stay and capture the sunset. Dinner with your guests at a local restaurant is the perfect way to end the day with everyone toasting the happy couple.
Marco Beach Ocean Resort Weddings
Here are a few wedding photographs I created from some recent weddings at this beautiful hotel on Marco Island. The hotel is connected to a wonderful restaurant, Sale de Pepe. After a beach ceremony guests are escorted to the Terrace for cocktails as the sun sets. My favorite area for photographs is the Garden Terrace on the fifth level. The guests rooms are nicely appointed and make for great getting ready photos. View here for more images of this Marco Beach Ocean Resort wedding. The hotel is also a great venue for intimate weddings. Here is a blog post of an intimate wedding with family on a weekday evening. I was their Marco Island photographer!
