Frank Simonetti, Professional photographer
My father was a professional photographer and joined with my Uncle Henry, a US Air Force Photographer. They both served during WW2. Upon their return from overseas, they created a photography studio in Boston across from the Conservatory of Music and a block away from the Boston Symphony. So, I grew up in the warm glow of bright lights and happy people. There was travel and glamor-my Aunt Chloe recalls the day when they photographed young Martin Luther King, Jr. and Miss Coretta Scott, before they were married. I would spend my summer vacations going to the studio with my dad. My first photograph was sold and published in the weekly Suburban Press and Recorder when I was 12 years old. The event I photographed was of the annual fishing derby in my hometown of Medfield.

Client Testimonials from Sanibel Weddings
“Frank, Lawrence and I received our pictures last Saturday. Thank you for being so prompt. You were above and beyond! We are so pleased, the pictures are amazing, better than we imagined. We weren’t sure what to expect, not having met you prior to our wedding day, but it was a pleasure to work with you. You were professional, made us feel at ease, and were so accommodating. We would highly recommend you.”

“The Photographer, Frank Simonetti that our wedding officiant recommended turned out to be fantastic. He had the art of evoking emotions and also got our daughter relaxed and engaged. The images were completely magical. Memories for life.”

Florida Professional Photographer
I didn’t choose to be a professional photographer, photography chose me. I couldn’t imagine wanting to do anything else when I grew up. At the Art Institute of Boston, I studied photography and went on to work as a news photographer for several Boston-area newspapers. It was interesting work, but it wasn’t what I wanted I missed the joy that I found in wedding photography and family photo sessions.

Fort Myers Photographer
Finally, a move to the Fort Myers area in South Florida so I could live year-round in a place that most people only get to visit for destination weddings or family vacations. I’m doing what I love best, capturing the love and joy in precious family moments.

Wedding and Family Photographer
Over the last 20+ years, I’ve photographed destination weddings and family portraits for thousands of happy clients on the beaches of Sanibel Island and Marco Island. I’ve traveled through Florida-and beyond-to shoot weddings and portraits at many prestigious sites. These locations include the Vizcaya Museum in Miami, Casa Ybel Resort, Marco Beach Ocean Resort, South Seas Island Resort and Tween Waters Inn on Captiva Island.

You can also find my work through GETTY Images, which provides stock images used by advertising and editorial clients. After all of these years, I look for ways to create new and fresh images every day. It’s an honor to be part of your special day. There is so much joy to capture your important moments for you to treasure for a lifetime.

Call or send me an email to set up your session today. I look forward to hearing from you!
