Jordan and Keith marry at Almost Heaven Captiva!
This was a destination wedding on a Wednesday for this couple from Minneapolis. They arrived to the “Almost Heaven Captiva” vacation home with their family and friends for the beach wedding ceremony on Captiva Island. The weather was beautiful in this island wedding at sunset. We made some photographs before the ceremony on the bride and her family and then the groom and his family as the bride and groom did not see each other that day until the ceremony began just a few feet from the Gulf of Mexico.
Destination weddings on Captiva Island
Captiva Island is just north of Sanibel Island off the coast of Fort Myers. The beaches are well known for the great shelling and miles it’s natural settings. After the ceremony the wedding guests enjoyed a champagne toast while pictures were taken of the families and bridal party. When the sun set, the guests walked down Captiva Drive from the Almost Heaven Captiva beach home to the intimate dinner reception at the Tween Waters Inn while the bridal couple were ‘chauffered’ to the Sunset Room on “The Gem” (famous golf cart limo on the island) to their wedding celebration dinner. The Tween Waters Inn is a seaside resort on Captiva Island known for the historic cottages and great dinner at the Old Captiva House Restaurant. Shown here are some of my favorite photographs that we captured at this Almost Heaven Captiva wedding…
