Bali Hi wedding on Captiva Island
This was a fun and energetic wedding on Captiva Island for Erin and Bill. They arrived from Ohio with family and friends for their Bali Hi Captiva Wedding under blue skies with a cool wind blowing from the north. We started with photographs of Erin in the beach home. Then Bill would have the ‘first look’ of Erin in her bridal gown before the ceremony. Bill was turned away facing the ocean when Erin walked up behind him and tapped him on the shoulder. Well, the pictures show their looks and emotions. The ceremony was performed by Paul Mielke, it happened at 5pm, just before sunset. It all worked out fine with some-time after the ceremony for a group photo of all the guests and family. We had time to photograph the bridal party at sunset. After photographs we all walked to the Bali Hi beach home where cocktails were served and then dinner was served outside under the bright stars. Some family proposed champagne toasts to the bride and groom and then they had their first dance together as husband and wife. The cake was then cut by the bride and groom and served along with other deserts. I’m not a ‘photographer of cakes’ but this was the most beautiful cake I have ever photographed!
Bali Hi Captiva Wedding
This is a beautiful beach home directly on the Gulf of Mexico for family reunions and weddings. Bill and his family used the guest house while Erin prepared for the wedding in the main house. The home is located just before downtown Captiva and the beaches are quiet with an abundance of sea shells for collectors. Shown here are some of my favorite photographs we created at this Bali Hi Captiva Wedding.
