They planned their destination wedding for over one year from Michigan with direction from Patricia Slater of Weddings by the Sea on Sanibel Island. Jessica and Calvin were joined by family and friends at this beach wedding at the Sanibel Arms West. This beachside condominium community is located on the east end of Sanibel Island. Sanibel Arms West Weddings
The weather was great for this June wedding held later in the afternoon. The father of the bride officiated at the wedding while guests were seated under a blue sky with some white clouds. Guests were picking up shells on the beach before and after the ceremony while pictures were being taken. The guests then went to the reception which was held at the Sanibel Community House on Periwinkle Way. Last beach picture was the bridal party photo-bombing the bride and groom as they stood with their back to the Gulf of Mexico. I have photographed family vacation photographs at Sanibel Arms West, the property is beautifully landscaped and directly on the Gulf of Mexico.
