Captiva Island Yacht Club Wedding!
Oh, this was a wonderful and high energy wedding! The couple and their guests, most from the Boston area, stayed at the Tween Waters Inn for the weekend at this destination island wedding. This Sunday afternoon wedding had great weather. The ceremony took place just off the edge of the Gulf of Mexico. We started with photos of the bride getting ready, photographing rings and flowers and friends. Then off to see the groom and his family for pictures. The ceremony was just across the street from the condo where the bride was staying. Diana’s Dad walked her across Captiva Drive to the ceremony where friends and family were gathered. After a twenty minute ceremony we photographed the whole wedding party and continued with quick family photographs so the guests could all enjoy the cocktail hour across the street at the Captiva Island Yacht Club. Having their wedding at a yacht club was comfortable for Mike and Diana as their passion is sailing and they enjoy this as members of the Falmouth Yacht Club on Cape Cod.
Reception was fun at this Captiva Yacht Club Wedding!
Diana and Mike had some additional beach photos and then joined their guests for the relaxing time prior to dinner. After dinner a great sounding band gathered the Boston guests for hours of enjoyable music and dance. Near to sunset, we walked out to the beach for sunset photos and were joined by many of the guests who wanted to enjoy the moments of sunset on this charming Captiva Island. Shown here are some of my favorite photographs we captured.
