For over 25 years I have created fun and joyful family photography on Captiva Island. Usually, families arrive on Captiva Island for vacation during the summer months. It is a great time for a visit to Captiva since children are on school vacation for a few months. Also, the cost for vacation venues is much more economical! When you visit Captiva, you will see a beautiful and quiet island. Some of the vacation features include boating, fishing and of course swimming in the clean and warm Gulf of Mexico waters.

Joyful and Natural Photography
Shown above are some pictures of the Wodrich family from Ohio. They call me for a photo session every couple of years. The cousins get together and have a blast, fishing and boating. For instance, they take a golf cart ride to the little grocery store on Andy Rosse Lane. This year some of the children were graduating from high school and entering a university.

Below are some pictures taken of the Wodrich family in 2007. This was the first Captiva Island photo session I made of the Wodrich family. Their family photos were taken in the same location on Andy Rosse Lane. The photo on the top of this page is the same family in the photo below on the left!
Captiva Island Beach Portraits
I enjoy creating family portraits sessions on Captiva Island. For instance, I find the light is wonderful for natural photography and everyone is in a good mood. You will see that on this fun island you can just ‘golf cart around’ on most roads. It’s common to see kids driving around in golf carts with their parents sitting in the back seat.
