Family portrait on Sanibel Beach!

Family Beach photography on Sanibel Island, it was a last minute plan for the Light family from Georgia. I photographed the seven children and their parents just before sunset. Usually not a problem, but there was a strong thunderstorm just a few miles away on this evening.  We worked quickly and were able to capture all the ideas Mom had for the children. The quality of light was warm due to the storm clouds nearby. We made as many photos as possible before the strong rains came. The children enjoyed picking up shells and doing an occasional ‘handstand’ while waiting for the next picture to occur. After the shoot, the family went to dinner for their last evening on Sanibel Island. Shown here are some of my favorite images we captured.
