Elopement Photographer on Sanibel Island
Have you considered a Fort Myers Elopement? For over twenty-five years I have photographed elopements on the beaches of Fort Myers and Sanibel Island. There are a variety of locations available, each with its own uniqueness. For example, Fort Myers Beach is the fun and active location. This small island is just 30 minutes from the RSW airport. Fort Myers Beach is known as the party location for all of Southwest Florida. You will find fun pubs with live music that are just feet away from the beautiful surf. Ok, before you plan your elopement, consider a surprise engagement on Sanibel Island.

Naples Beach Elopements
For a Naples beach wedding, the beach faces west for classic sunset wedding photography after your elopement ceremony. I do have a few additional favorite elopement locations where I have photographed many weddings. After you enjoy the elopement photos below, I will discuss the other locations. Here is a great wedding officiant for Naples and Marco Island elopements and weddings. Here is picture post of a recent Elopement at LaPlaya Resort.

On the other hand, maybe you are looking at the differences between an elopement and a typical wedding reception? So, you can visit this Fort Myers wedding photography page for more details on what venues are available. There are many locations and ideas for weddings in Fort Myers, Sanibel and Captiva Islands.

Sanibel Island Elopement

Visitors know that Sanibel Island has it’s own special uniqueness. The island is well known by collectors of sea shells. A two mile causeway connects you to the island from Fort Myers. The bridge crosses over the Caloosahatchee river with a great view of the island. For instance, if you look to the left, you will see the Sanibel Lighthouse that has been operating since the late 1800s. In addition and for your convenience, the island has two grocery stores. Once you are on the island, you find a nice variety restaurants.

The photography fee for a two-person elopement is on this PDF download. If you increase the number of guests, just let me know your wedding details for an exact quote.

Elope to Captiva Island
Some couples just want to enjoy quiet time with each other. Therefore, you might choose a Captiva Island elopement. This island is north of Sanibel Island and can easily be reached by car. Once you are on Captiva, the island does not have any traffic lights, just a blinking yellow light in ‘Downtown Captiva’. So, no need to worry, this small-town intersection has just a four way stop sign and a few enjoyable outdoor and indoor restaurants. For example, you can travel down the short road called Andy Rosse Lane and find casual restaurants and the beach.

Elopers can choose from many cozy cottages for their island visit. In addition, there are magnificent private beach homes for your elopement. Now, you might wonder why I write about magnificent beach homes. Because I checked the dictionary, and it shows an elopement can be up to 12 people.
