Marco Island Marriott Wedding

Marco Island Marriott Resort

was the destination for this couple from Newfoundland. Bernadette and Wayne were joined by their two children, family and friends for a Thursday afternoon wedding on the beach for this Marco Island Marriott Wedding. The beach was the location for the ceremony and on this partly cloudy day the lit aisle candles looked great with flower petals gently laying on the white sand. The ceremony was nicely presented with a reading by the bride’s sister and brother in law. The children also participated in a sand ceremony with the bride and groom just before the wedding ring exchange. After the ceremony we quickly went for some landscape pictures on the nicely maintained Marco Marriott Resort property. Then everyone met on the beach to catch some sunset colors. Sunset was subdued with the cloud cover. The color that was present for sunset was so soft, it presented a photo opportunity I have only witnessed a few times. See the family photo below with the sun reflecting on the water… 🙂 While we were all walking back to the Marco Marriott Resort, someone suggested we get a picture of the guests walking away with the little lanterns in their hands. We did it and I think the photo turned out just fine with the soft lantern glow showing. The wedding party then met at the Kurrent’s Restaurant where they were seated outdoors next to the fireplace, to enjoy their celebration dinner and wedding cake.
