Naples Beach family portraits
I photographed the Shaffer family on Captiva Island a few years ago when the children were just about 1 and 2 years old. This year they returned with their grandparents for a vacation in Naples. They stayed at a lovely home on Third Street South, just a walk from of the City of Naples. We started their Naples beach portraits of the children then included the parents and finally the grandparents.

Family photography sessions in Naples
The family rested for a few minutes then we began our walk to the beach, just a few blocks away. When we reached the beach, the children enjoyed playing and running from waves on the Gulf of Mexico. We walked around looking for seashells and waited for the sunset. It arrived, right on time… 🙂 and we were able to make colorful pictures with the sunset in the background as well as photographs in silhouette of the families. Shown here are some of my favorite photographs that we created for this Naples beach portrait…
Portraits on Naples Beaches
You can find more information on my Naples Photographer Post. Naples beaches certainly face west, so if you are looking for sunset as a backdrop, I recommend starting an hour or so prior to actual sunset.
