North Captiva Island Wedding
This was truly a destination wedding for this couple from the east coast of Florida. Anthony and Chandra arrived to Pine Island with their friends and family. They rented a few boats for the week long vacation on North Captiva Island. The island can only be accessed by boat. Once there, the only transportation is golf carts! So my boat from Captiva Island was a little late, I was traveling with Patricia Slater of Weddings by the Sea who was to perform the wedding. We arrived to the island and had a golf cart take us to the wedding house.
Wedding Ceremony on North Captiva Island
The ceremony beach was beautifully decorated by friends of the bride and groom. The beach faced west, so after the ceremony we continued photographs into the sunset at 8:20pm on this July 4th Holiday. The guests and friends then walked to the Green Flash House on the island for the wedding reception.
Fun Wedding on North Captiva Island
It was such a pleasure to photograph Chandra and Anthony. They had some ideas for photos and whatever they did….well their faces just showed their exuberance for their wedding day! Shown here are some of my favorite photographs we created of this North Captiva Island Wedding. Oh…the little kid in the below photo never threw the sand cake at his sister. 🙂
