Intimate Wedding at Traditions Restaurant
Laurent and Sanaa chose the Traditions Restaurant on Sanibel Island for their wedding celebration dinner. The beach ceremony was on a secluded beach on the island. Patricia Slater of Weddings by the Sea performed the wedding ceremony. After some photographs, the guests walked to the restaurant for this Sanibel Traditions wedding celebration. The ceremony was delayed for a few minutes as a rain shower passed through. The remaining clouds made for a great sunset! Sanaa’s hairstyle was created by Lisa of AliNico Hair and Makeup Design. Sanaa is from Morocco and her friend Kate escorted her down the ‘beach aisle’. Kate’s daughter Kenza was the flower girl and ring bearer. She held a beautiful starfish on which the rings were attached. After the ceremony, I photographed the new couple along with Laurent’s family from Orlando.
Wedding Dinner at Traditions Restaurant
We stayed on the beach for a while and created some pictures of Sanaa walking in the surf with her lemon-yellow tulips. The flowers photographed wonderfully against the gray clouds. When the guests arrived for the Sanibel Traditions wedding celebration, they enjoyed h’doerves and cocktails in the lounge. Laurent and Sanaa had sunset photographs taken against a very colorful background. Friends from Miami, Naples and Atlanta were witnesses to the wedding of this international couple. Laurent is from France and is the Food and Beverage Manager at the Normandie Restaurant for the West Wind Inn on Sanibel Island.
