by Natalie and Robert arrived to Sanibel Island with their children and friends from Wichita Kansas. The kids were having a blast! So we began photographs in the beautiful and picturesque Butterfly Garden for this West Wind Inn Sanibel wedding. After I photographed the children, we gathered with the bride and groom for additional photographs before we went to the beach. It was a two minute walk from the Butterfly Garden to the beach. When we arrived I noticed the blue sky was special with beautiful, small white clouds. Before the ceremony, we took time for photos with this great background at this Westwind Inn Sanibel wedding. I photographed the children individually and with their parents with the water as the backdrop. The sky looked like it would produce a great sunset, so we began the wedding ceremony.
Sanibel Beach Wedding Ceremony
The beach wedding ceremony was performed by Natalie and Robert’s friend who is a church pastor. The ceremony was personal and with a warm message. After the ceremony this intimate wedding group had a champagne toast and hugged and talked for a few minutes before we started sunset photos. The wedding party were only in Florida for a couple of days, so they hired Patricia Slater of Weddings by the Sea to organize all the details that were necessary for this lovely West Wind Inn Sanibel Wedding.
West Wind Inn Sanibel Wedding
The West Wind Inn on Sanibel island is a nice resort located on West Gulf Drive, a quiet area of the island. After the beautiful sunset, the wedding party walked to the Normandie Restaurant. It is popular for a West Wind Inn Sanibel Wedding. Laurent is the food and beverage manager of the Normandie restaurant. He and his staff served the champagne toast on the beach for Natalie, Robert and their family. When we entered the pleasantly decorated dining room, the cake was already on a table across from where the family was sitting for their celebration dinner.
