Brian and Ashley arrived from San Diego for their destination wedding at the Westwind Inn on Sanibel Island. Friends and family joined them on this Saturday afternoon. The weather forecast for this day showed rain and more rain. However, the rain was missing during the ceremony which took place on the beautiful beach at the Westwind Inn and we had plenty of soft light for family photos afterwards. The friends and family of Ashley and Brian brought their own sunshine and enjoyed a lively reception with dance. The dinner/dance reception was in the wedding tent which overlooked the Gulf of Mexico.

Laurent, the manager at the Normandie Restaurant decorated the celebration tent decorated with a dance floor, warm lights and with space for a photo booth where the children and guests had fun trying on different costumes for their photo shoot. Occasionally guests would walk to the waters edge and pick up shells that just washed up in the active surf. A buffet dinner was served by the staff of the Normandie Restaurant located at the Westwind Inn on West Gulf Drive.
